Del Norte County's Triplicate reports on frustration over what some feel are poorly run elk management programs. They're getting to be a nuisance to many folks up there.

Almost every day there is a vehicle vs. elk incident. The last being yesterday at noon on 101 and Enderts Beach Rd. A calf was hit and the mother was going into the roadway, time and time again. A CHP unit had to be tied up at the scene so that the unseeing are aware. I could go on and on.......Green Diamond wants to sell tags, so let them be responsible for their "resource." Harold Wood.

Makes sense to me.
There are too many people not too many elk.
Once the wolves make it into Northern California this problem will be taken care of by nature.
